Check In

You are welcome to Check In from 3:30pm, and can Check Out until 11:00am on the day of departure. You are welcome to leave luggage with us if you are planning a day out on your departure or arrival date.


For Breakfast we offer a selection of cooked local produce; cereals; toast; as well as Millie’s Chicken & Duck eggs and Cross Farmhouse Jam (items subject to availability), all served in the Farmhouse Kitchen. We aim to accommodate our guests requirements regarding the time of their breakfast.

If you have an early start, please let us know at the time of booking and we can prepare a breakfast to go, typically consisting of bacon or sausage sandwich, yoghurt, fruit and water.


The nearest Airport is Exeter Airport and the nearest train station is in Totnes (3h from London Paddington). Additionally, we can recommend the following taxi services: Totally TaxisA2B TaxisEco-Taxi; and Clark Cars.


For those who love their dogs, we can accommodate them as long as they are kept in one of our new Stables. Owners should provide food & bedding. For other pets, please get in touch and we will do everything we can to accommodate you all.


To make your stay as perfect as possible we offer a range of packages to compliment your stay:

Cream Tea in the Garden

We can serve a full Devon Cream Tea, including scones, Devon clotted cream, homemade jam, and a pot of tea for you all to enjoy in our walled garden. A Cream Tea costs £4.95 per person.

Bring your Horse on Holiday

We have availability in our stables and paddocks for visiting ponies, as well as ample parking for horseboxes & trailers, so if you’d like to bring your horse on holiday, then we can arrange that for you! Cost is dependent on the level of service that you would require, but starts at £25 per pony per night (for paddock & hay). 

Lunch to Go

If you’re off for a big day out, we can provide a packed lunch to go including: a sandwich, bottled water, fruit, yoghurt, crisps and flapjack or cake, for £7.50 per person.
